First subject:

HAPPY BELTAIN!!!!

This is gonna be one COOL Beltain for me.  Why?  Well, if I tell you my wish then it won't come true.  Let's just say I worked on a spell a couple of weeks ago and I'm gonna see the first step of that spell working today!!!!  On Beltain!  I didn't realize the timing of it until a couple of days ago and I just smiled BIG when I did figure it out. 

I LOVE how magic works.  I'm not the most effective witch out there.  My studies our very, VERY weak, (I'm a lousy self study).  But I have noticed that candle magick is one of my more consistent successes  So, I use what works for my biggest wishes.  And to see it actually working, makes me just that much stronger in my belief of success in future magickal pursuits.  Now if only I can find myself a coven that is into dragon magick, ( I always work WAY better in a group...it's a more the merrier personality in me), I just might be a somewhat descent witch!! :D

Second subject:

I've been meaning to write this all week. 

I LOVE MY i-SHUFFLE!!!!

Thank you Mom SO much for getting me this on my B-day!!!!  I get to listen to all my fave songs from my collection of Cd's and with the help of Scrith and Pepsi caps I've been able to get 3 more songs from i-Tunes onto my i-puffle. :D

One of these songs which I haven't listened to since Jr. High was my latest addition.  Back then it was my ABSOLUTE favorite songs.  It came out when I was in 4th grade and I always went to bed while listening to the radio knowing that they played it everyday around this time.  As soon as they played it, I turned off my radio and fell asleep.  When family moved to Austin, I never heard the song again on radio again.  I didn't know the title so I couldn't request it or anything like that.  The fortunate thing is a friend in 5th grade knew which song I was talking about and told me not only the title but the singer. :D  I immediately begged my parents for the record.  Got it!!  But life eventually got busy and I soon forgot that I even had the record. 

Years and years later...I'm looking for the Evanescence song that was in "DareDevil" and finding nothing...I'm forced to think of another song to put onto my i-Puffle.  Don't know what triggered me think of my 4th grade favorite, but I looked and sure enough it's there.  I downloaded it and I'm once again listening to it everyday and getting a big happy memory smile on my face and trying very hard to not sing along with it while at work. :D 

I've come to realize that though I love many songs I do have an ABSOLUTE favorite song.  "Total Eclipse Of The Heart" version by Bonnie Tyler.  I LOVE MY i-PUFFLE!!!!

Third subject:

During CMA Beltain I told Scrith about a story/novel I was writing for the heck of writing some years ago.  He really liked it and told me to maybe start working on it again.  I've kinda started again.  I've got the idea for the thieves in the group.  It's a type of Dungeons and Dragons type story.  An adventure group gets formed and starts trying to help the king.  I've only got 3 & a half chapters in when life crowded in and stopped the idea juices from flowing.  Now that I have the encouragement of Scrith and now also Galen1, I'm once again attempting to tear apart the damn and start writing the story again.  It's one thing to write a story from beginning to end.  It's REALLY hard to start writing, get interrupted for nearly 5 or so years and get back into the flow of things.  OIY!!!!

Well...that's all for now.  Work is going ok.  Things with Scrith are going WONDERFULLY!!!!  So happily in love!!!! :D :D :D :D  Little One is doing good.  Just got to get her to not make anymore yellows in school. :)

Evanescence song on the "Daredevil" Soundtrack. Are you talking about "Bring Me To Life" or "My Immortal" (which I think was played during the funeral scene)? They're both on the CD "Fallen", which I have BTW.

It's the "Bring Me to Life" one. I like that one best. :D i-Tunes had "My Immortal" but not the other. :( Go figure. Maybe you can download it onto your computer and e-mail me the song? I'd pay you. :D
