I've had a few people ask what diet I'm on. I first heard about it and all it's greatness from

I started on Monday with the real quick I-don't-care-it's-our-1st-anniversary slip on Monday evening at the Melting Pot. By the way...SO WORTH THE SLIP!!!! Anyway, I've been doing great on this detox cleansing diet. I'm doing the strictest, in other words started out with all three levels eliminated.
I'm planning to stay strictest until this next Sunday and then will start introducing some things back in slowly. Like vinegar for salad dressings and meat. :D Actually I could probably stay like that for a really long time with the occasional feta cheese on my salads (I DO miss the feta) and maybe a dessert or two per month. I've been doing off and on carb dieting for a loooooonnnnngggg time so cutting out the breads and sweets has been a fairly established habit now.
So far, the only side effect I've had is I realize I do need to get some fiber supplements, being feeling a bit tired at first but actually been getting better everyday and all last week I've had this low grade headache. But that is finally starting to wane off. Yeah!!
I've been tempted with cookies on Thursday evening but though the smell was stronger than normal (like fresh out of oven strong but they are so not fresh) and yesterday at the Alamo Drafthouse seeing the pizzas and the Little One's root beer float being consumed so close to me, I still didn't cave into the urge to just take a taste. Smells weren't as strong this time. Go figure.
Anyway, I'm really happy with this detoxing diet. I can't wait to see if I can eat pomangranite again without feeling like I'm getting a UTI or pain in my stomach like someone is trying to dig it's way out of that stomach. And the bigger thing....I'VE ALREADY LOST 5LBS BABEEEEEE!!!! :D :D
