I'M NOT CONTAGIOUS!!!!!

felisviolaceousI do not have the flu or some kind or bug that hops from person to person. :D
I'm still not in the best of shape...I've got myself a kidney infection. The left kidney has decided to not be happy with me anymore. OIY!
I've already taken my first of 20 pills of antibiotics and have to go back to doctor in ten days. Hopefully I'll be all better by then.
What happened is I go in and tell him all the problems I've been having. He does the typical ear/nose/mouth looking and then the listening to the lungs. He feels around the stomach and says he wants to get some bloodwork and urine sample. I somehow was able to give some seeings how I just went to the restroom before going to doctor. Should have thought ahead...duh.
Anyway, he comes back in, tells me to stand up and turn around. He asks me if this hurts and then lightly punches my back under the ribs on my left side and I YELP!!!! Yes...that hurt! He did the same to my right side and no pain. According to him I wasn't exactly showing all the right signs of a kidney infection. But that's what I got. I'm just glad that I went ahead and decided to go to doctor now...this could have ended up being a lot worse if I kept assuming it's just the flu and I'll get past it.
So...my left kidney is very unhappy. BUT I'M NOT CONTAGIOUS AND THEREFORE I CAN KISS MY BABY GIRL GOODNIGHT AGAIN!!!! YEAHHHHH!!

And glad he kept looking, despite you not "showing all the right signs". Makes me feel like he's a good doctor (I'll call off the henchmen now *g*).
