Once again the season of giving and family get togethers has begun. As much as I enjoy this season and love the gathering of family and friends...I REALLY dread the whole giving thing. Many get stressed about figuring out what to get their loved ones. Me...I actually know what to get most everyone. The stress is trying to figure out how to pay for it. I HATE THIS PART!!!!

You know sometimes it works the other way....

I think I dread the gathering of "family" now more than the other.

I gotta try to appease and work around people's schedules that I would rather not deal with. Do I really want to go drop of the kids with the ex-wife's mother?...NO Do I really want to go deal with my kiddo's half-sister's family who's father was my best friend from age 15-29?...NO Do I really want to try to coordinate all these visitations as well as bear the financial brunt and headache of scheduling all this?...Hell NO.

I understand. That is why on my side we draw names. That way you can focus on that person but the financial aspect is reduced.
