Sleep? What's that?
Went to polydinner and then went to other location for polydinner (parking SUCKED downtown) and then headed home to watch a yummy movie.
Was a bit dissappointed in movie, was not what I was supposed to get. Yes, it had the monsters but not the part of the monsters that I like. *GRUMBLING* Hate spending money on something that I think I'm getting and find out that I didn't get it.
Anyway...about halfway through the movie I noticed that I'm getting cold pretty quickly. So I go turn the heater up. By the end of the movie my lower/mid back is a little sore. By the time I'm ready to crawl into bed I realize I'm shivering a whole lot and now my neck is sore too...OH CRAP!!!!
I grab the thermometer and sure enough I've got a fever in the works. It was at 100.0 when I called Scrith to let him know so he can take vitamins and such and hope that he don't get it. I even wake Little One up and get her to eat a Flintstone's chewable and let her get back to sleep.
I crawl into bed at about 12 am with DayQuil in my system in hopes to fix before becoming worse. I get maybe about an hour of laying there when I realize it's getting worse not better. I somehow get enough strength and a moment of not shivering to get up and grab a sweatshirt and got to restroom and thermmometer again. 101.8 this time. It's almost 2. I go into kitchen with intention of taking the single Nyquil tablet to work alongside the two that I took less than 2 hours ago but find the Motrin and take it.
Find some socks and crawl back into bed. I'm guessing the moving around and such forced my body to go into high gear cause my face felt like it was on fire and every nerve in my body was on alert. I couldn't move anything without feeling every hair on my body being moved along the sheets. I don't really know how long after crawling back into bed it happened...but fever broke and I was sweating my ass off! I didn't sleep very well at all last night.
However, I'm awake now getting Little One ready for school with no fever. I'm a bit shaky inside and definetly tired. I'm so VERY glad that I have this day off...which means after I drop Little One off I can come back home and get the sleep that I missed last night. The good news is, appearently I am good now and this means I'll be even better come tomorrow for the ad-lib scene in the TV production that I'm doing at 8 AM in the morning on a Saturday! OIY!
